Here's another post about the person who has officially replaced Bill Gates from his No. 1 position on my "Better off dead" list. Yup. None other than my boss.

Did some things to really piss me off last tuesday. As usual. Kiamsiapness. Having to record every student's details for every bloody ticket purchased. Being a part-timer, who doesn't give any shit about whether the company makes a loss or not. I just any-oh-how recorded names and IC no. randomly.

For example. Student's name: Ho Ma Kok. Kee Ma As. Gu An Di. Ar Pi Hair.

And my cock manager didn't even notice. Shows that its simply redundant recording their details.

Also. More and more kuai lan customers are making their way to my work place, especially when I'm on duty. And please dont expect professional service from me, I'll freakin slap you in the face. Yesterday, 3 people came down. Kao pei kao bu for 10 min. And still have the balls to say "I'm not trying to make things difficult for you." And they continued to KPKB.

I started off like this, "Sorry.... " - "Not happy dont buy lah" - "Too bad too sad, I'm just a part timer here" - and finally.

The one and only middle finger and the fuck off look.

Today I saw an old man with no legs.
Sitting by the sidewalk of a shopping mall.
Hands outstretched, a bowl in his hand.
A bowl cluttering with the few coins in it.
People walked by.
Looked at him.
Scorned him.
Pitied him.
And they walked on.
The old man knew they didn't care.
He knew that was all he could do.
People came out of the mall.
Bags in hand, smiles on their faces.
They didn't notice the old man.
Sitting on the sidewalk,
looking at them enviously.
All he wanted was some money,
to have a less than decent meal,
would be good enough for him.
Today the old man,
got another chance to see,
how people take things for granted.

Beginning to dislike my course, and all the technical stuff included. Like technical drawings of the sections, elevations. Going mad with all the measurements and scales. Should have taken something more abstract like graphic design.

And I already spent $30+ on the 1st day of school. My pay doesnt come till nxt week. And maj. of it is going to expense. With wah wah continuing to be so ngiow, I wonder how much I can earn at most a month. Unless I can find another part time job that pays well.

Work is getting suckier and suckier, and the pay is getting lower and lower. Now we are supposed to sell at least 3 memberships per day when we work. (who the hell wants to be a wah wah member?) and the name of the membership already sounds stupid. Friends Of Eng Wah. And we dont even know how does that fag look like. FOEW for short. which has the same initials as F*ck Off Eng Wah!

Oh yeah, I'm gonna FOEW soon.

And the hours. Eng Wah knows that his company is going to hell soon, and is trying his best to salvage whatever he can. So he cuts down cost. 1 staff per station. No mustard for hotdogs cause the price of mustards went up by $0.05 per bottle. More ice in the cups, which means less drinks. So cheap. And last time, F*uck Off Eng Wah (FOEW) members ONLY needed to spend $150 to redeem a movie voucher, and the voucher cant be used for weekends, and public holidays and sneak previews. Now, they have to spend $250 to redeem the same stupid voucher. And they want us to promote the stupid membership.

FOEW! You stupid bastard.

My working hours average is about 15hrs a week? Thats barely $200 a month. And like I said. Wah Wah's marketing team has no brains. FREAKIN NO BRAINS. And with FlimGrad Illuma opened, I bet wah wah is going to close down soon.

the turmoil in other countries.

but back here we know,

we are safe and sound.

Have been painting the old house since yesterday, so that I can rent it out and have more income. Then when I reach 21, I can finally move back in. Can't wait to be 21.. Painting is damn tiring, 1 5 L tin cost $48, bought 3 tins, used 2 and not even half the walls are painted.

And tomorrow morning will be a damn scary morning for me, cause I have to register for GEMs, which I HATE. Yeah, GEMs, I took OE last sem, and I really regretted taking it. But I passed the module in the end lah.

Was supposed to be at camp last friday, but found it too damm boring, so left halfway without the rest knowing. Then watched Shinjuku Incident with Sky yesterday at PS. Wanted to go buy belt but realised that I ran out of cash.

Headed to funan to see stuff, and there was this anti virus promo going on. And this irritating promoter kept approaching me and telling me more about the anti virus software. Which I obviously dont need.

So I got abit fed-up, and asked him if it was for windows. And he said; 'Yes yes, works well with windows.'

And I told him. ' No thanks, installing anti virus on a PC is like wearing a condom with a hole at both ends.'

Went for movie marathon yesterday with Veron, watched Kung Fu Chef, Marley And Me, He's just not that into you (2nd time), Suspect X. Eye pain. And ass pain also for sitting down too long. With my legs perched up on the seats in front of us.

And last Monday was a super long day. Here's a summary:

Raining damn heavily the past few days. And the poor bird which is laying eggs on the balcony edge is soaked, just so that it can protect its young from the cold. Which is very noble. For a bird. Or maybe its just their natural instinct to protect their young, which in this case, every caring parent should warn their child the danger of using a windows PC.

So feeling sorry for the bird, I placed a cardboard box (leftover moodbox) around it to shield it from the rain. And used a hairdryer to dry it. But it didnt really liked that, cuz it flapped its wings like crazy and made some irritating noise. So well, amazing how it didnt fly away when I approached it. Maybe its too tame, as it has been living on my balcony since God knows when, or its afraid I'll take her young, and bring it to tomorrow's BBQ. ??

Went for the class BBQ at East Cost last night. Was raining in the afternoon, so wondered if the BBQ would be cancelled, but just went anyway. Met Sky at Cityhall, and went to Bedok int, where we waited for a bus that never came. Stupid SBS bus 401, operates only on the weekends. We waited there for an hour, looking like a fool. Took a cab in the end.

Reached the BBQ pit to find no one except Esther and gang. And the BBQ pit was abit small, there was 50+of us sharing 2 pits. Set up the charcoal, and had tried to fan the flames with this giant styrofoam board. In the end, after 1 hour, finally I was BBQing satay...

Too hungry to wait, shared the cold but spicy otak with sky and amin. And wacked the raw salmon. Which tasted extremely sour. Not fresh? Got a strong stomach anyway. People always call me a dumpster anyway, anything can go in.

Mutton steak, took too damn long to cook, so wacked it while it was medium rare?? The fats were like rubber, spat it out in the end.

And there were these sausages, and it was spelt as chicken chickulata.. which I think is chicken penis? But tasted nice anyway. :)

Drinks were all gone by the time I felt thirsty, so headed to Macs to buy a drink. Then half an hr later, felt like going home, cause nobody wanted to open up the rest of the food, so we were like eating satay, mutton steak, chicken wings, and the otak.

Coming Monday there's gonna be another BBQ at moberly. Hope its gonna be better.

Because of Bill Gates, he created Windows, and many people are using this OS.

"But if u get caught I have to do a refund for you. And that means I have to pay out of my own pocket, and I dont want to pay."

After submission went to funan with Timonthy to get his new camera. Thank God he bought a Canon this time, not some screwed up Samsung, which sucks, but not as much as a Windows based PC. I HATE windows lah.

Then watched Underworld 3, which was quite nice, doesn't suck as much as a windows based PC. Did I just say that? I'll say it again. Windows suck. There.

Checked the price for the Nikon D80, cause I realised my Nikon D60 was a real handicapper, with no in built AF motor and only 3 AF points, it sucks, but not as much as a Windows based PC. But well, my Nikon D60 works fine. Not like a windows based PC which DOESN'T work.

Tired, gonna sleep now, but I'll wake up. Not like a windows based PC, where you have to take it to a service centre to wake it up. Or a wack on the hard drive works fine.

Had a hard time convincing friends in the studio why windows suck. And I really got on their nerves by insulting windows every time something goes wrong. Like when their A1 board is really blur and full of pixels, I blame their windows based PC. When they render VIZ slowly, I blame their damn PCs too.

But its true. Timonthy's Acer took half an hour to render a 200 frame walkthrough.

Mine too 20min to render a 500 frame walkthrough. And Timonthy's Acer has a dedicated graphics card, and my Mac doesn't.

Timonthy's Acer hang and died 4 times when he badly needed to extract a file. My Mac was ready to tango in 34 seconds.

Sky's HP took 10 min to open a photoshop file. The same file took less than a min to open on my Mac.

Thats MORE than a reason to HATE windows.

I'm not a Apple fanboy. Just a hardcore anti-windows normal boy.

Submission is finally over, well, not for the Int. Tech wall though, which is due on Monday cuz too many people couldn't finish their assignments. Critique's on 19th, Thursday. Which I am not looking forward to. After that, the whole int. design would be going for a BBQ at ECP, and the best thing is that its free. Maybe cuz our lecturers feel sorry for us for having to spend so much money on our materials. But i spent about less than $150?

Today we had the last lecture conducted by Kelly for year 1, which is kinda sucky, cuz all my tutors are great. Except for some. But they're great. And too bad they can't teach us in year 2. Which sucks.

And we had this exercise, on what we thought Int. Design is about. We had a similar exercise back in term 1, were we wrote down literally what Int. Design was about: decorating a room. Which is bullshit. Its more than that. Its redefining a space.

So today I wrote what I thought of Int. Desgin, after 1 year.

Int. Design is about:

anyhow wack, and then bullshit your way through.
full of surprises. with what you can create by wacking, and how good you are at bullshitting when you actually pass.
model making, using CAD software, having our journal of our thoughts, and having to re-do all of them if we make a mistake.
FUN. :D

And something I actually learnt:

thinking outside the box, on how to recreate the inside of a box.

Damn, the year passed so quickly. I'm starting to miss year 1.

I found something my PC could do that my Mac couldn't: hang and crash. My XP on my Mac crashed, along with all my AutoVIZ drawings, which sucked. Cause I didn't backup, and had to spend 2 days redoing the model. Lesson learnt. Back up. Esp when you're on windows.

Here's some rendered images of my shophouse drawings on VIZ.

The interior elements. Every single piece was manually drawn on VIZ, followed by using a command to make the inside hollow.

What it looks like in the inside. Placed a camera inside and switched to its view. 15mm lens.

Next, AutoCAD drawings, TOD journal, Int Tech wall, and A1 presentation board. All by this thursday. And then its the end of year 1. :D

Done. Design Studio is done. Left with Theory of Design, Int. Tech, CADP. This is what I was busy with the whole of this week, stayed back in studio till 9pm from Monday - Thursday, spent almost 20+hrs on this shophouse model. Tired...

And on Tuesday morning, we had this weird non-lecture on Buddhism and Philosophy conducted by the School Of Design's Director. And throughout the whole 3 hrs of non-lecture, damn weird qns were asked, like "are you sure you are you? how do you know you are not me and I am not you but me?" how do you know that you are not in a dream now?......." and more bullshit.

After all the bullshit, he asked a final question which we were all supposed to answer before we could go for lunch. What is being? And how can it influence our project?

And this was my answer, posted on the discussion board.

There is no definite answer to what is being. Being can be referred to anything, matter or non-matter, organic or inorganic. It exist both within and beyond our comprehension. Typing this is being. Life is being. Death is being. Both verb and noun come into play.

As to how this idea could influence our project, simply by understanding the meaning of being. Anything can be accomplished. There is no limits, no boundaries. Nothing is being but yet all is being.

This time, its goodbye to microsoft's windows, in a way. I sold my HP laptop, and bought a Black MacBook.

Mac OSX is nice, but it didn't really sorta blow me away as I expected. I was just like 'oh ok, thats real nice.' Maybe because I still dont really know how to use it yet.

2nd day of work, and my last. Spent the night thinking about it. This can't be a long term part time job for me, I can't choose when to work, and the pace is damn fast there. All day long, I have to pretend to do something so my manager wont snipe me. Pretend to take a cloth and wipe the tables and chairs... Take the full jug of water, pour it away, and refill, taking my own sweet time, waiting for the 5 hours to pass.

Today was the 1st day at the new work place at Vivo. And its really work. Not slacking at wah wah, which I really miss. Worked from 6-11, and throughout the 5 hours, I wasn't allowed to sit or stand still doing nothing, so I just walked around, clearing the plates and cups. Oh, and the beer smells like some sour decomposed liquid.

And there's so much things to remember, like what beer contains what, tastes like what, blah blah blah... I doubt I'll last long here. Sore back and feet is what I have now.

The customers there are also rich? I guess. Every now and then, I'd see a iPhone or Blackberry on the table, or some other smart phone. The crappiest phone I saw was a Nokia N95 8GB, which is already like so ex to me. Hopefully I can find a super rich girlfriend there, then I dont have to work. Wait long long..

Also, within 1 hr, I got yelled at a couple of times, just because I didn't know where the butter and other sauce were kept, and it isn't really my fault, its my 1st day what..

Honestly, I don't really like the working environment there. But just because I need the money, will have to bear with it.

Now I realise, Acer doesn't suck. It is Microsoft which sucks and should stop releasing updates on Vista's OS... Cause my HP laptop just committed suicide and went to hell. A few minutes after I booted up Vista, a huge huge blue screen will appear, and before I can read what is on the screen, the whole system crashes. Great.

So, this time. I'm really bent on switching to a Mac. No more shitty Microsoft products for me please. I'm a hardcore anti-microsoft/PC/windows now.

Wasted money today...

Wanted to do some reflective thingy surface for my mood box, so went to art friend to buy some materials. Didnt have reflective paint there, so just bought some silver paint, and a can of gloss spray.

Went home, and stink up my whole room. And the finished product could hardly reflect any light...

In the evening went to my grandma's house, and played some lame game on my cousin's laptop which was lagging like a stop-motion picture. stayed till 11pm then met Kelly to watch Australia at Cathay. Before that we went to popular 1st, and there I found some shiny silver paper that cost only $3!!! Damn! I wasted $9 on a glossy spray that doesnt even work. Gosh.

And the damn movie was like 2hr 40min long so we decided to watch Ip Man instead. And it was great. Awesome. Donnie Yen really makes all the other martial artist look stupid. Maybe except for Jet Li. Nah I prefer Donnie Yen. So damn fast.

But Donnie Yen doesnt really suit the character he played. Ip Man uses a set of martial art which was developed by females, and so he wasn't that aggressive. Unlike flash point where he really beat the hell outta Colin Chou.

And the Japo General. Acting yaya papaya at first, but got balls kicked in by Ip Man in the end. Was beaten up so badly that he was leaning against a pole, and at the same time getting slapped and punched by Ip Man. And there was nothing he could do about it. Nice.

Tomorrow, got service at church at Simei, and lunch. and whatever...

In the end, they throw at us a piece of paper. And the numbers on it mean all so much to us. Some continue another set of regimental scheduled routine. Others just move out and find other things that will keep them busy, eventually becoming part of their routine. Work.

After some years, our bio-organic machines wears out, unable to repair itself. And all that we have done, is left behind. Can't take anything with us.

So what is the purpose of working so hard now?

I think I broke the record, for pissing the most no. of customers off at my work place. Don't you just love it when those assholes get pissed and start arguing with you just because they made the mistake, not you, and are trying to bargain to their advantage?

Well, today some guy came to my counter, and wanted to collect his movie voucher. So he presented me his OCBC letter, which is already the voucher and all he has to do is exchange it for a movie ticket, and not the voucher, cause there is NO voucher for this. So I tell him VERY NICELY, 'this is the voucher already, it can be exchanged for a pair of movie ticket of your choice.'.

And this guy, who had an anal retentive face and seriously looked like he was suffering from severe vitamin D deficiency, started to argue with me.

He went 'NO, your office told me to come down to collect the voucher, and now you tell me there is no voucher?'

'This is the voucher, it can be exchanged for a pair of tickers.'

'But your office called me to come down to collect the vouchers. I came all the way down from yishun, and now I've made a wasted trip? Call your manager now.'

'Yishun is just 3 stops away, my manager is not in. This is the voucher. There is no voucher for this. The letter states that you can collect your tickets, not voucher.'

'I want to speak to your manager.'

'I call, you talk to him yourself.'

So I called the manager and this son of a bitch starts to yell at my manager. Which I really didn't care. Then I wanted to see how far I can push this guy who has a face that looks just like those anal models in a science lab. I cut him off, and told him to go to the next counter while I attend to the next customer.

His face, suddenly looked like it was going to throw up some shit. And I just continued attending to the other customers. At that point, some other staff stepped in, and the anal retentive guy started to argue with him, which he didnt know what was going on.

Just then I needed to go relief myself, so I stood up and walked away, conveniently pointing a middle finger at the guy, which I thought he couldn't see. But those anal retentive eyes were sharp enough, and he confronted me outside the toilet, and I told him to complain if he wanted. That anal retentive mouth muttered something and he walked away.

I really wonder what is going to happen to me when they receive this complain.

And a few months back, another asshole argued with me, he wanted a refund of his ticket because he didnt know that there was a promotion with the OCBC credit card. And I really cant do a refund, unless I want to pay out of my own pocket. So I refused and he slammed the table and argued. So I muttered 'kao pei bloody asshole.'. I didnt think he'd hear, but he did, and he wanted to complain, (they sure like to complain dont they?). And I got abit scared so I refunded his tickets and printed a new one for him. But luckily I didnt have to pay out of my own pocket in the end. Cause my manager managed to void the tickets.

At that time I was still new, so I was quite intimidated by them, but now, I dont really give a damn. I'm there to work, not be your dog.

So to that anal retentive guy, wear your G string on your head, so I dont have to insult you so much on cyber space. Asshole.

My flu is getting worse, my nose now is no longer blocked, its flowing like a tap.

And I ate McSpicy at for lunch. Topped with an Oreo Mcflurry.

Just as I was getting ready to start on my end of year project, I fell sick. Phlegm, blocked nose, headaches, fever and watery eyes. I cant even type properly now.

I fell sick last year during the Christmas week too.
