Lots of homework to do... make 3 volumes made of metal wire by wednesday, do journal tomorrow, complete drawing on 40 ping pong balls also by wednesday. So much homework...

Wanted to go watch forbidden kingdom tomorrow after school, but got so many homework, homework and homework. Dont even have time to go for CCA showcase after school today.

I want to go mad already.

Just finished painting 20 ping pong balls on the theme of 5 emotions; anger, happiness, frustration, sadness and confusion. Can be seen on my design blog.

And it's not over, we have to like do 20 more ping pong balls on dunno what. So that is like 40 ping pong balls. that's a lot of balls man.

So in school, me and my friends said, we feel like we're in some special school for the disabled, cause ever since we started our 1st lesson, all we've been doing is drawing, painting, making paper models etc. It's like I didn't study so hard for O levels and even spent 1 year in JC just to come here to do origami. LOL man.

And worse thing is that we have tonns of work to do almost everyday, compared to students from other course. Everyday: go home and paint, draw, make models, use AutoCAD to draw, blah blah blah...

DID teachers are crazed man, give homework like nobody's business like that.

One day DID students are going to conduct a mass suicide outside school of design, then no more DID, all go home!!!

The other day at school I was passing by this building; Student Hub @ Moberly, where it is basically a hang out spot for full time students. The names of the various places were interesting, such as Mug@Moberly, where students can go there to study, or mug, whatever. Then there'a also Theatre@Moberly, where it is a outdoor theatre where plays and performances are held.

But the most interesting name I saw was the name of the restroom.

So school today, lecture on theory of design and interior technology
then later had character development.
we had to go and help some organization one way or another
my group chose to help SPCA,
all the animals, go and draw on their bodies. @_@

Then today for lunch, fed up until pek chek.
We were released early for lunch.
then wanted to go to foodcourt 2, the nearest foodcourt to the design school
but Sky wanted to go eat at restaurant.
Walked all the way to engineering school,
only to find out the 'restaurant' was nothing but a small cafe.
...............

Walked all the way back,
passed by foodcourt 3 and 5
but was like human sardines inside.
in the end we went to KFC and Pizza Hut.
So crowded until cannot see the entrance.
Went to 7-11, nothing filling to eat.
So... bought a lunch box; chicken chop rice.
Wanted to find some place to sit and eat.
Also no place...
in the end, we ate at some smelly place next to the garden.
cover our nose and just wack the food.
then faster eat, faster run away, the place so smelly.

Then.... listen and listen in lecture.
Laptop running out of batt, so cant use.
Didn't know that there was a powerpoint just behind me.

Then tomorrow is a good day,
because lessons end at 12.
can go home early and sleep,
upload pictures of my work onto my design blog
watch movie...

Feeling tired, worked from 930-1230am today, and yesterday 630-1230am.

Both days did ticketing, and NO THANKS to the new show.
Forbidden Kingdom.
SO many ppl came to watch movies.
Long queue and I became stressed the moment I saw the queue.
Dont need to say, short $10 yesterday.
But then, today I got excess $0.50.
Sales today was the highest I've ever got; $5000+ for the whole day,
and surprising, I got excess $0.50.
Then at the end, doing closing and printing the report.
I realised I printed the wrong tickets.
Had to reprint the reports.
Finally everything ok ok.

I was like so pai say when I brought this pikachu to school. Everyone kept staring at me on the bus, and 1 small boy kept on tugging on to his mother's shirt and pointing at my pikachu.

Gosh. I'm 18 years old, not some 6,7 year old kid.

My work for today: design a cartoon character and construct it using drawing block.

1st day of school, without wearing uniform.

Morning was still deciding what to wear,

then finally it was my smelly jeans and black polo T.

The halfway on the bus... SHIT!

Forgot to print my time-table,

didn't know which class I was in and where to report.

Rushed to the Design Office and got a copy of my time-table

Suprised, the tutors were so friendly,

unlike the JC tutors, who would scream at you for nothing.

The for the 1st hour of lecture, we were introduced to what studying design would be like.

No exmas, no hair pulling over difficult questions, no thick books to study....

All that was needed was a creative mind and a passion for design and drawing.

Then the next 2 hours was spent drawing.

Drew 4 sketches of ordinary objects seen from a different perspective.

At the end of the 2 hours, TA-DA!

Got a 'B' grade.
Doesn't matter, and can't be bothered to go to school to collect cert.
Did ticketing today, with the new trainee manager

Tomorrow.... OFF DAY! then tuesday - friday got work. Next monday is the start of term 1, aww man, 6 months holiday is gone. Luckily there's a 1 month holiday from mid-May to mid-June.

Wahh, quite nervous about going to school again. See new faces, dunno what to talk to them. Scared Scared. : (

OFF DAY!!! Went to suntec to watch free movie with YS using my staff pass, watched Shutter and The Empress And The Warriors. Wanted to watch Three Kingdoms, but could not use my staff pass after 5. So m left with 3 more staff pass. Anybody wanna watch movie with me?

And damn tired now, woke up at 6 in the morning to go to the Acer Service Centre to repair my laptop. Ah shit, $250 to replace the broken LCD screen. This is like the 3rd time I've sent my laptop for repairs this year.

1 more week to Term 1!!

ooooo, got my pay slip today, and also 5 pairs of movie passes. Thinking of going to watch use them all this friday before school reopens. Maybe going to suntec to watch Forbidden Kingdom, Shutter, Vantage Point, Orphanage and Empress and the warriors. Mini movie marathon this friday, and some more its my OFF day.

Got stuff to buy before school reopen. Gotta upgrade my laptop RAM, buy a portable HDD, maybe a better laptop case or bag, and maybe some other laptop accessories. My RAM is like damn little left after installing all the software required by poly, excluding AutoCADD, which is sure to eat up a huge chunk of RAM, so thinking of upgrading it to a 2GB or 4GB if my pocket permits.

Next week, poly orientation, dunno whether to go or not, lots of ppl say its not complusory, but the timetable will be given out during the orientation. Then also may not be able to work so much, think 2 X a week is fine. Change my roster to Friday, Saturday and Sunday work. See what time I end school loh.
