I found something my PC could do that my Mac couldn't: hang and crash. My XP on my Mac crashed, along with all my AutoVIZ drawings, which sucked. Cause I didn't backup, and had to spend 2 days redoing the model. Lesson learnt. Back up. Esp when you're on windows.

The interior elements. Every single piece was manually drawn on VIZ, followed by using a command to make the inside hollow. 

What it looks like in the inside. Placed a camera inside and switched to its view. 15mm lens.

Next, AutoCAD drawings, TOD journal, Int Tech wall, and A1 presentation board. All by this thursday. And then its the end of year 1.   :D

And just because I skipped GEMS, I had to do the rest of the work. 

Done. Design Studio is done. Left with Theory of Design, Int. Tech, CADP. This is what I was busy with the whole of this week, stayed back in studio till 9pm from Monday - Thursday, spent almost 20+hrs on this shophouse model. Tired...

And on Tuesday morning, we had this weird non-lecture on Buddhism and Philosophy conducted by the School Of Design's Director. And throughout the whole 3 hrs of non-lecture, damn weird qns were asked, like "are you sure you are you? how do you know you are not me and I am not you but me?" how do you know that you are not in a dream now?......." and more bullshit. 

After all the bullshit, he asked a final question which we were all supposed to answer before we could go for lunch. What is being? And how can it influence our project?   

And this was my answer, posted on the discussion board. 

There is no definite answer to what is being. Being can be referred to anything, matter or non-matter, organic or inorganic. It exist both within and beyond our comprehension. Typing this is being. Life is being. Death is being. Both verb and noun come into play. 

As to how this idea could influence our project, simply by understanding the meaning of being. Anything can be accomplished. There is no limits, no boundaries. Nothing is being but yet all is being. 

Bullshit right?

What the hell... Saturday, and I'm here in school doing some bloody stupid GEMS project which I have absolutely no freakin idea what its about. And my group members are smart enough to pick a table full of bird's shit to do their discussion. 

Waste my time. 

Relax... Its a Friday... Dont work so hard. Do your work tomorrow and sunday...

This time, its goodbye to microsoft's windows, in a way. I sold my HP laptop, and bought a Black MacBook. 

Mac OSX is nice, but it didn't really sorta blow me away as I expected. I was just like 'oh ok, thats real nice.' Maybe because I still dont really know how to use it yet.

And the damn MSN messenger for mac isnt working... And I dont know how to fix it. :(

Damn... Sick again. Fever, headache, diarrhea, and lots of vomiting. So much until my legs feel weak. So took a taxi to school, cause if I took a bus, I might probably die on the way to school. Slept throughout the lecture. Drank 7 bottles of water. And I shitted out water. Really.

Moodbox, gotta redo by Wednesday. Maybe will skip school tmr to finish up my work. Can't make it a habit though. 

Hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

2nd day of work, and my last. Spent the night thinking about it. This can't be a long term part time job for me, I can't choose when to work, and the pace is damn fast there. All day long, I have to pretend to do something so my manager wont snipe me. Pretend to take a cloth and wipe the tables and chairs... Take the full jug of water, pour it away, and refill, taking my own sweet time, waiting for the 5 hours to pass.

If you countdown to the time where you can go home, then it means that you dislike that job. Which is quite true.

Life doesn't just suck, it kicks you in the nuts when you're already down.

I'm just not a very optimistic person. 

Life just sucks. And there's nothing you can do about it.

So live with it. 

Today was the 1st day at the new work place at Vivo. And its really work. Not slacking at wah wah, which I really miss. Worked from 6-11, and throughout the 5 hours, I wasn't allowed to sit or stand still doing nothing, so I just walked around, clearing the plates and cups. Oh, and the beer smells like some sour decomposed liquid. 

And there's so much things to remember, like what beer contains what, tastes like what, blah blah blah... I doubt I'll last long here. Sore back and feet is what I have now. 

The customers there are also rich? I guess. Every now and then, I'd see a iPhone or Blackberry on the table, or some other smart phone. The crappiest phone I saw was a Nokia N95 8GB, which is already like so ex to me. Hopefully I can find a super rich girlfriend there, then I dont have to work. Wait long long..

Also, within 1 hr, I got yelled at a couple of times, just because I didn't know where the butter and other sauce were kept, and it isn't really my fault, its my 1st day what.. 

Honestly, I don't really like the working environment there. But just because I need the money, will have to bear with it.

Sucks eh??

Skipped school today, so that I can finish up my projects, which I'm lagging behind most people. Did my 4th mood box, which doesnt really look like a mood box at all. And did some parts of my shophouse, which is really giving my brain a squeeze. Aww painful..

Morning, went to HP service centre to repair my stupid laptop. $95 just to reinstall the OS. Which sucks. HP is really expensive to maintain. Then I found a buyer for my HP laptop, which is great cause that means that I can get my MacBook earlier. Should have gotten it instead of the HP. What was I thinking...

Then evening went to Funan to get my thumbdrive, and took some pictures along Supreme Court for my Design Studio Assigment. Upload photos later.

Now I realise, Acer doesn't suck. It is Microsoft which sucks and should stop releasing updates on Vista's OS... Cause my HP laptop just committed suicide and went to hell. A few minutes after I booted up Vista, a huge huge blue screen will appear, and before I can read what is on the screen, the whole system crashes. Great. 

So, this time. I'm really bent on switching to a Mac. No more shitty Microsoft products for me please. I'm a hardcore anti-microsoft/PC/windows now. 

Computers are supposed to make people's lives easier, but Microsoft has made life harder in fact. Go read those forums where people rant about how Windows is giving them a headache. In fact it is giving me hell. I cant recover my files in my HP laptop now. 

Microsoft... It just doesn't work. 

Checked the fees for NAFA's Degree In Int. Design. 

$17 000 per academic year.

Must start saving up.   :(

New Mood Box.

Am really having difficulty researching on the case study for Int. Tech. 3 studies on walls that used wood interestingly... Found one only, The Boolean Cafe in the University Of Tokyo. Which looks quite interesting.

Due date is this coming Monday, and I'm still not done. 

Going for dinner now. Macs.

Drowning slowly into mental retardation. Same as stickman, I joined Facebook again. Just to play those dumb games like 'word challenge' and 'pet society' and also 'how big is your brain' or something like that. 

Skipped GEMS today cause Maureen didn't come to school today and I didn't want to go alone, so stayed in the studio to do my drawings, but somehow got influenced by Sua Kah Yong playing the stupid facebook games, so I decided to sign up to, and be retarded with all my friends.

In the end, I played the damn games, instead of doing my drawings. Now I am screwed. 

After school went to Vivo to fill up the application form for my new job as a part time waiter at 'The Queen And Mangosteen". Its a restaurant/pub, and not some ya kun kaya toast (or however you spell it). So will be working with Esther and Chia Fang, and not at wah wah anymore. 

Ah shit. Still got lots of work to do.

Its time I woke up to the 21st century. People have been using acronyms all around. IM, SMS, wadever... and I hardly know any of these damn acronyms. Like for example, last year, everyone was like 'lol'ing on MSN, and I didn't catch any ball. Same goes for 'brb'. I thought it stands for bloody retarded bastard. So I replied 'screw you'. Caused a big misunderstanding, just because some people are too damn lazy to type out the damn word.

But there are still so many of these damn acronyms, like 'rawr', which I have no freakin idea what it stands for. Rolling around whining retardedly? 

Someone please enlighten me.

Everyone is saying "A new year is here" or something similar on their MSN nick. As if they are the only ones who know that. 

Anyway, what I hope to happen in 2009:

Complete year 1 and move on to year 2, and not fail like how I failed JC.

Find a new job so I dont have to help wah wah go on 'holiday
