What another waste of time today. Real waste of time when I could be at home doing my AutoCAD drawings. Felt damn pissed in the morning. Here's why.
Morning 8am. Meet project group at Clementi. Went into Macs. The rest had breakfast while I helped Zheng Wei with his photoshop. At 10am, GL told us to go anywhere to measure shophouses. I was like WTF? You told us to meet here just to have breakfast? And then later go to Chinatown to measure shophouses? I could have slept longer! Sheesh!
Btw, we all have to measure the dimensions of a shophouse to draw in AutoCAD.
So went to Chinatown to measure some shophouse with a airwell. We didnt know what the hell a airwell was, so we went into almost every shophouse in Chinatown to ask. Freak, suddenly it started to rain. So we went into the Heritage Centre. The guy at the counter was like a freakin ah quah who had his balls cut off. Said things so slowly I felt like reaching across the counter and punching his face. And he also said to go in, have to pay money. WTH.
Student price: $4. I give you 1 tight slap across your face.
So we continued, finally found a shophouse that had a airwell. The owner was kind enough to let us in to measure everything. Joe took photos of the place while me and PW measures the place. Agar agar measure, then went out.
Finally when we were done. I sat outside, slacked a while, while the girls went to a kopitiam to buy coffee for the owner, as a way of showing their appreciation. Wah, so thoughtful, I'd never have thought of that.
And its good to be the IC of my group. As you can self dismiss although the work is not complete. Well, thats what I did.
Was supposed to meet the walking stick to go print the photos. Dunno why his group was like so slow, so I went to VivoCity 1st to slack. Then about 1.5 hrs later stickman called and told me to meet him at PS. Went there, met Zheng Wei on the way. So went together. Had lunch, then went to Piss Centre to print our photos.
Damn ex, we had to print A1 size, and all were like $22. So we tried looking around some more, finally found a shop that had student special. $15. We each had to print 2 pieces, and there were 6 of us. So 12 altogether.
And the printing process was the most agonizing moment I had. 2 hours of waiting. Nearly felt like punching someone.
2 hrs later, took photos, went home, did my AutoCAD drawings, until I nearly puked.
What a day.
